Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Structural Welder to join a fabrication team in Sapulpa, OK . This hands-on role is responsible for welding and assembling structural steel components according to blueprints, welding specifications, and production requirements.

If you have strong MIG and Flux Core welding experience and can produce quality structural welds in a fast-paced shop environment, this Structural Welder opportunity offers strong long-term potential.

Required Experience & Skills
• Minimum 2 years of shop welding experience REQUIRED
• Proficiency in MIG and Flux Core welding processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and fabrication specifications
• Strong understanding of welding quality standards and safety procedures
• Ability to produce welds that meet structural integrity and inspection requirements
• Fitting experience is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a production-driven fabrication environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform welding and assembly of structural steel components
• Use MIG and Flux Core welding processes to complete fabrication work
• Read and follow blueprints, structural drawings, and work instructions
• Ensure all welds meet required quality, structural, and safety standards
• Work with fabricated steel materials and assemblies to complete production projects
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and weld consistency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Support team production goals and fabrication schedules

Weld Test Requirements

Candidates must successfully complete:
• 2G MIG Horizontal with Bend Test
• 2G Flux Core (Radiographed)
• ½" Plate Double Bevel with Backing Bar

Work Environment
• Industrial fabrication / structural welding environment
• Exposure to welding equipment, sparks, heat, steel materials, overhead equipment, and active production areas
• Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, bending, repetitive motion, and PPE compliance
