Job Summary

MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Counselor to provide individualized treatment using behavioral and psychological interventions and assessment techniques. The role involves delivering clinical care, supporting clinical programs or research protocols, and developing individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical psychological and behavioral interventions and assessments.

• Develop and deliver individualized psychological treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate documentation of clinical activities and protocols.

• Perform quality assurance procedures to ensure accurate data collection and entry.

• Comply with institutional policies, standards, and core values.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related counseling field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of post-master's related counseling experience.

Required License:
One of the following Texas licenses is required upon hire:

• LPC Licensed Professional Counselor (Preferred)

• LMSW Licensed Master Social Worker

• LCSW Licensed Clinical Social Worker

• LMFT Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

• LPA Licensed Psychological Associate
