Job Description
We are seeking a Structured Cabling + Fire Alarm Technician to join our team! You will install Cat 6, fiber, fire alarm wiring, security systems, CCTV systems, and other low voltage systems.
Requirements:
- Live within 45 minutes of our main office in zip code 27617
- Be able to pass an NC Alarm Systems Licensing Board background check - this means NO felonies/level 2 or higher misdemeanors on your record. See this link: -crimes-statutory-order/open for more information.
- Be able to pass a drug screening

Responsibilities:
- Install pathways and wiring
- Terminate, test and label wiring
- Install fire alarm devices
- Install ERCES/BDA systems
- Install security systems
Qualifications:
- Previous experience installing fire alarm systems
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- OSHA 10 preferred but not required - company will pay for training and certification
- Any industry certs are a plus (NICET, BICSI, etc)
