Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper This is a temporary, fully onsite position with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Pay Rate: $23–26/hr Role Overview Seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support accounting operations through accurate financial recordkeeping, reconciliations, reporting, and administrative accounting functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy. Key Responsibilities Record and maintain financial transactions and account records. Verify, allocate, and post transactions to appropriate accounts. Reconcile subsidiary accounts and general ledger entries. Prepare trial balances and assist with account reconciliations. Maintain organized financial documentation and records. Compile, analyze, and summarize financial data for reporting purposes. Support the accounting team with additional projects and tasks as needed. Qualifications 2+ years of bookkeeping experience or 4+ years of accounting/clerical experience. Working knowledge of US GAAP principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills. Experience working in a multi-entity environment is a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
