As a Mechanical Engineer in the Orion Landing & Recovery Systems (LRS) team, you will: Support the development, manufacture, procurement, test, and product certification for Orion LRS component/system products including the Crew Module Parachutes (Main, Drogue, Pilot, Forward Bay Cover), Parachute Deployment System (Mortars), Crew Module Uprighting System, etc. Support Orion LRS Subsystem Integration Develop and/or maintain product performance specifications, statements of work, and supplier data requirements for LRS components Maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and technical analyses necessary to support LRS components Provide requirements flow‑down, verification, and maintain technical baseline at the suppliers Desired Skills Familiarity with engineering principles and processes Knowledge of requirement definition, verification, and product certification for spaceflight Experience with System and/or Subsystem Integration Other Information Onsite Full‑time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. #J-18808-Ljbffr Lockheed Martin
