Position: Senior Manufacturing Engineer [Req # 6221]

Duties: Engage in electrical lab fixture maintenance, process improvement, and redesign for highly complex semiconductor thin film metrology inspection instruments. Manage end-of-life and obsolescence electrical parts replacement prioritization, finding, and operations implementation. Work on electrical test fixtures identification, design, and implementation (Hardware and Firmware). Modify and improve existing electrical assemblies by doing circuit updates using Altium schematic, layout, detail and assembly drawings. Create and release parts simulation testing of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies using NI max, Matlab software. Create test procedures for the manufacturing process related to electrical fixtures and electrical systems and provide further improvement for cycle time reduction. Work on the transition of documentation into a Manufacturing Execution System. Implement testing standards of electrical boards and components into production. Manage electrical systems cost reduction projects. Operate and produce day-to-day support for an even assembly workflow and resolution of escalations, and work on system troubleshooting support utilizing a variety of electrical instruments. Crosstrain technicians on using electrical test fixtures and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements: Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field and 3 years of experience. Skills required: electrical design; electrical systems troubleshooting; electrical programming; electrical components; and electronic instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and meters. The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of required experience.

Salary: $116,699 – $120,000 / year.
