About the Role We are seeking a dynamic Licensed Insurance Agent who has proven experience in identifying needs, prospecting to provide sales and service of Auto and Home insurance products offered by the credit union and assure the success and growth of the Insurance Services Department. The right candidate will have a sense of urgency and a strong commitment to delivering best-in-class service. Responsibilities Assume responsibility for Insurance Sales. Manage referrals and leads following Premier America’s procedures and standards to provide accurate insurance quotes for our members. Provide quality, professional service, and guidance in relation to member’s insurance needs. Qualify, Quote, and Bind coverage for the insurance products offered by the credit union to its members. Maintain a complete understanding of the insurance products offered, educate members on the value of the products, and be capable of issuing new insurance policies on the platform of all the appointed carrier. Use the Carriers underwriting guidelines and business appetite to qualify prospects and offer a suitable product. Use the tools provided to successfully follow up with quoted prospects to discuss the member’s insurance needs and offer solutions that best fit those needs. Ensure effective performance in all activities relating to property and casualty insurance products as it pertains to assigned goals. Probe to discover member’s needs and cross sell opportunities. Qualifications Previous experience and understanding of the insurance products sold and the terminology used in industry. Must maintain an active CA P&C insurance license clear of judgments in the states where the credit union conducts business. Understanding of product positioning and competitive conditions. Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and principles. Strong interpersonal and public relations skills. Excellent sales abilities. Solid presentation skills, with professional verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and follow-through skills, with analytical problem-solving abilities. Able to work well independently. Pay range and compensation package The base pay range for this position is: $25.00/hour plus earned commission. Perks Important To You Competitive pay.
