Business Intelligence Developer

Cleveland, 5990 W Creek Rd, Suite 200, Independence, OH 44131, USA Position Purpose The Business Intelligence (BI) Report Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of mission‑critical enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) reports. Working with cross‑functional teams, you will gather and document reporting requirements to meet business needs. Using your skills and experience as a BI Report Developer, you will then use those requirements to design, develop, test and implement reports and dashboards that utilize the underlying data store(s)/ data warehouse(s) / data mart(s). Responsibilities Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirements. Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources. Transition developed reports and dashboards to the Operations & Support team. Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users. Provide technical assistance and cross‑training to other team members. Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes. Complete all required training applicable to this position. Maintain regular and predictable attendance; attendance is an essential function of this position. Qualifications 3+ years’ experience developing and implementing enterprise‑scale reports and dashboards, including working with users in a requirements analysis role. Extensive experience with data warehouse implementations. Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional). BA/BS in Computer Science or related field is preferable; equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered. 3+ years of experience and proficiency in RDBMS technology. Experience in Microsoft BI stack with PowerBI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS. Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft PowerBI, Oracle BI). Experience with complex T‑SQL. Knowledge of DataWarehousing Methodology and best practices, Kimball preferred. Experience and familiarity with MS Office Products, MS CRM, MS Project, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, and MS Team Foundation Server (TFS). Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents and effectively present information to IT management, technical groups, and/or project teams. Compensation and Benefits Expected pay range: $65,536–81,881 per year. Paid Time Off (PTO) – 16 days annually plus 9 company paid holidays.
