Emergency Medicine Physician
Location: Elma, WA
Job Summary
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join a Critical Access Hospital with a 24/7 Emergency Department and Level IV Trauma designation. The physician will provide high-quality emergency care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support quality improvement initiatives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergency patients.
- Perform medical assessments and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Coordinate care with specialists and healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Support emergency preparedness and clinical protocol development.
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
- Active Washington State medical license (or eligible to obtain).
- Active DEA registration.
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
- ATLS certification within six months of hire.
