Work Environment

This remote position allows therapists the flexibility to conduct their work from a suitable home office setting while also being part of an outpatient facility environment when needed. Our operations are designed to support work-life balance, with set hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. We aim to uproot the stigma associated with mental health by actively engaging in community outreach and reducing barriers to care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and family therapy sessions, setting treatment goals that are aligned with each client's unique needs and circumstances.
• Create a safe and supportive environment that encourages open discussion of mental health issues.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams, including psychiatrists and other therapists, to develop comprehensive care plans for clients.
• Utilize therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to maximize the efficacy of therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential documentation of patient progress, complete intakes, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Join in case consultations and team meetings to ensure cohesive treatment approaches and client care continuity.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest therapeutic techniques and regulations in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client base that may include individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and other life transitions. A considerable focus will be on family dynamics, making it essential to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the multifaceted needs of different family structures.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in California to practice independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, complemented by excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Competence in utilizing therapy management software for client scheduling and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant therapeutic experience in both individual and family therapy settings.
• Previous work in remote settings is an advantage, demonstrating the ability to establish rapport via telehealth platforms such as Zoom or Doxy.me.
• Familiarity with insurance processes and the understanding of billing practices to assist clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 120,000 annually , complemented by an attractive benefits package.
