Job Title: Human Resource ManagerLocation: Atlanta, GA (preferred) Remote/Hybrid - USAReports to: VP, Human ResourcesDepartment Name: Human ResourcesJob Types: Full Time, ExemptPosition SummaryThe HR Manager is responsible for overseeing Human Resources operations across the U.S. workforce while providing support and coordination for international and cross-border teams. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role partners closely with leaders and employees to ensure consistent HR practices, compliance, and a positive employee experience across regions. This position plays a key role in supporting Rubicon’s international teams and growth while maintaining alignment with U.S. employment standards and local requirements.Essential Duties & Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and support all core HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR operationsServe as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practicesManage employee relations matters, including investigations, coaching, corrective action, and documentationSupport compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws, while coordinating with external partners to ensure adherence to applicable international labor requirementsSupport talent initiatives including recruiting, sourcing, onboarding, employee development, engagement programs, and retention initiativesPartner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational changes, and global expansion initiativesOversee HR processes related to leaves of absence, accommodations, and return-to-work programsCoordinate with payroll, benefits, and external vendors to support cross-border HR administrationMaintain accurate HR records and support HR reporting and audit readiness across systemsAssist with development and rollout of HR policies and practices that support all employees and company operations while maintaining consistency and equitySupport compensation, benefits administration, and year-end processes in partnership with HR leadershipCollaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously improve HR programs, trainings and employee experienceAbility to travel and/or work onsite as neededPerforms other duties as assigned or apparentSupervisory Responsibilities:This role may have supervisory responsibility for HR team members, interns or contractors.Experience & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience5–8 years of progressive HR experienceStrong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practicesExperience supporting international or cross-border workforcesStrong working knowledge of U.S. employment law; familiarity with international labor practices preferredBilingual in Spanish preferredExperience partnering with external counsel, PEOs, EORs, or staffing agencies for international operationsProficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office toolsStrong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsHigh degree of discretion, professionalism and sound judgementPhysical Demands and Working EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
