Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Performing comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor client progress and clinical outcomes.

• Collaborating with fellow professionals to develop individualized treatment plans, including articulation of specific therapeutic goals and follow-up strategies.

• Engaging actively in a multidisciplinary team approach, providing insights and contributions to client treatment plans that promote collaborative care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals and families dealing with substance use disorders and comorbid mental health issues. Our clients often come from diverse backgrounds and may face different challenges related to their psychological and social environments. The therapist must exhibit cultural sensitivity to effectively work with clients from varied racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, enhancing their therapeutic experience.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• License: An active and unrestricted LMFT license issued by the state of California.

• At least three years of clinical experience specifically in marriage and family therapy.
