Purchasing AssistantThe Purchasing Assistant will play an important role in supporting 3S Incorporated by creating, maintaining, and updating purchase orders, bill of materials, and related documentation for company divisions. This role is to ensure data is accurate, complete, and aligned with project requirements and needs.Provide administrative and clerical support.Create, revise, and maintain purchase orders and requests for accuracy before processing.Update BOMs based on changes, project revisions, or operational requirements.Verify part numbers, quantities, descriptions, vendor information, and costs.Assist the Accounting and Compliance team in maintaining and supporting purchasing.Establish and maintain recordkeeping systems, purchase orders, and other documents.Performs other duties as assigned.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Ability to learn purchasing procedures and policies.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or other related systems.Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds at times.This role will be based out of our Harrison, OH branch.
