Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Anesthesiology (CETrack) Location: Philadelphia, PA Open Date: Feb 06, 2026 Deadline: The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine invitesapplications for a full-time faculty position in Anesthesiology at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the ClinicianEducator track. We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking anesthesiologist to join our collaborative academic community. Thisfaculty member will play a key leadership role, serving as the Director of Anesthesia Services and overseeing the PDM SedationSuite, ensuring excellence in patient care, safety, and educationalintegration. Providing high-quality clinical and didactic instruction topostgraduate specialty students, including but not limited toPeriodontics and Pediatric Dentistry residents as well as dentalstudents, in all aspects of anesthesiology and sedation. Delivering expert anesthetic and sedation management forpatients with special health care needs and for individuals whorequire advanced sedative or anesthetic interventions. Contributing to innovative educational initiatives,interdisciplinary collaboration, and the continuous advancement ofour sedation and anesthesia programs. Qualifications (1) DDS/DMD degree withcertificate of advanced training in Dental Anesthesologypreferred; 2) MD or DO with dental anesthesiology trainingacceptable;

• 3) board eligibility or board certification from the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology or American Board of Anesthesiology (4) eligibility for dental or medical licensure with anesthesia permit in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania;
• 5)experience in the anesthetic management of patients with specialhealth care needs. Preference will be given to candidates whocurrently hold active PA licensure.
