The nurse will manage patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs, including orthopedic, urology, ENT, GYN, and general surgical patients, as well as some progressive care patients, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes and safety.Responsibilities\n \n Monitor and assess patient conditions through telemetry and direct observation.\n Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.\n Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including hospitalists, to provide comprehensive patient care.\n Perform necessary unit-specific procedures and protocols, including IV starts and EKGs.\n Participate in emergency response initiatives for Code 99 and Rapid Response events.\n Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care plans.\n Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry nursing.\n AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification required prior to start.\n Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.\n EPIC experience within the last 2 years is a must.\n Why ARMStaffing?\n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
