Registered Nurse - Telemetry

$3427.20/week - Job Summary: The Charge RN in Medical Surgical Telemetry provides responsible nursing care for adult patients, ensuring safety and quality patient outcomes. This role requires flexibility to meet unit needs and support patient care delivery. Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate nursing activities within the Telemetry unit to ensure comprehensive patient care. Administer medications, including insulin and cardiac drips, following protocol and physician orders. Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac status using advanced telemetry equipment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and modify patient care plans. Educate patients and families on their health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care. Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC system, ensuring compliance with clinical standards. Qualifications: Possess a valid RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical Telemetry experience, with progressive care knowledge preferred. Demonstrate experience with EPIC electronic medical records within the past 2 years. Have prior travel experience and be willing to work every other weekend or adjust schedule as needed. Exhibit strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
