Accounting Project Administrator in Winter Garden

An Accounting Project Administrator manages the financial lifecycle of construction projects, including job costing, progress billing, and lien waivers to ensure project profitability and compliance. This role bridges project management and accounting - an ideal role for someone with construction accounting experience. Job Duties Manage daily accounting operations related to account receivables and collections. Ensuring GC draws are input correctly to accounting system Setting up Project accounts and ensuring compliance with GC requirements Reconcile retainage amounts Prepare monthly financial statements Resolving payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company Working with A/P to ensure vendor payments for lien release collection Preparing and sending out lien releases to collect payment from GC Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance or 4 years of accounting experience Administrative experience in construction field Strong knowledge of: Job costing, AIA billing, retainage, construction project cycle Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, etc. Strong Excel and organizational skills Quickbooks experience Bilingual: English and Spanish This is an on site office position, not remote.
