Trulaske, Sr. College of Business Master's Programs Office is recruiting for a Program Manager II, MBA Student Success & Professional Development to support MBA and specialized master's students through student success coaching, advising, professional development programming, student engagement, and operational support. Reporting to the Director of MBA & Master's Programs, this position collaborates with faculty, staff, alumni, employers, and university partners to enhance the student experience and support positive academic, professional, and career outcomes. Responsibilities include student support, professional development programming, event coordination, communications, registration support, student data management, career outcomes tracking, rankings reporting, and employer and alumni engagement. Key Responsibilities Student Success Coaching and Advising Serves as the primary student success coach for MBA students and provides advising support in collaboration with the Senior Academic Advisor. Provides individualized coaching related to academic planning, professional development, career readiness, leadership development, and achievement of personal and professional goals. Monitors student progress and supports at-risk students through intervention strategies and referrals. Administers processes related to academic probation, withdrawals, dismissals, graduation clearance, and other enrollment adjustments in accordance with university policies. Professional Development and Career Readiness Develops and delivers professional development, career readiness, networking, and student engagement programming for MBA and specialized master's students. Provides career coaching related to career exploration, professional branding, resume development, interviewing, networking, and job search strategies. Collaborates with alumni, employers, faculty, and university partners to promote experiential learning, networking, and professional development opportunities. Supports initiatives designed to improve student satisfaction, career readiness, and employment outcomes. Student Data Management and Assessment Maintains and analyzes student, alumni, employment, engagement, and career outcomes data for assigned programs. Tracks key metrics including retention, progression, graduation, internship placement, and employment outcomes. Coordinates surveys and assessment activities and supports accreditation, rankings, and institutional reporting initiatives. Prepares reports, dashboards, and data submissions for program assessment, strategic planning, rankings organizations, and university leadership. Maintains accurate student records and ensures compliance with university policies and data management standards. Program Operations and Student Services Directs new student orientation programming in collaboration with the Senior Academic Advisor. Coordinates student engagement activities, events, and virtual programming for graduate business students. Supports registration processes and collaborates with academic departments on enrollment planning, course scheduling, catalog updates, and curriculum changes. Provides information and support to students, faculty, staff, alumni, employers, and external partners regarding graduate business programs. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support student programs, events, orientations, employer engagement activities, and other departmental initiatives. Faculty and Stakeholder Support Supports faculty in hybrid and online classroom environments. Collaborates with faculty, staff, alumni, employers, and university offices to support student success initiatives. Represents graduate business programs at recruitment, student engagement, and professional development events. Contributes to continuous improvement efforts that enhance the graduate student experience and program effectiveness. Shift Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with occasional availability outside regular business hours as needed. Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications Experience in student success coaching, career coaching, academic advising, student affairs, career services, or higher education administration. Experience working with graduate, professional, or adult learners. Experience developing and facilitating professional development, career readiness, or student engagement programs. Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting student, career outcomes, employment, or rankings-related data. Experience collaborating with faculty, staff, employers, and external partners. Experience using Microsoft Office and student information or CRM systems such as MyZou, PeopleSoft, or Salesforce. Knowledge of federal regulations pertaining to international students. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
