PHS Summer School Coordinator

Qualifications Certified Teacher (preference will be given to candidates with Administrator Certification and/or prior experience with ESY Coordination) Responsibilities
- Enrollment activities for students in ESY
- Develop class list with staffing needs
- Develop program schedules
- Coordinate staffing with payroll
- Coordinate transportation needs
- Coordinate food service needs
- Provide class rosters and support documents to teachers
- Provide curriculum resources and program of studies for locations
- Ongoing parent communication
- Staff training and orientation
- Supervision and evaluation of summer staff throughout ESY
- Data collection, analysis and reporting (attendance, students’ academic progress, goals met)
- Development of ESY handbook for staff
- Budgetary needs and purchasing requests
- Day to day logistical concerns and issues responsibility
- Coordinate identification and enrollment of students and class assignments.
- Oversee and assist in the development and implementation of summer school curriculum and programming.
