Boulder Community Health is seeking a Pharmacy Tech 2 who fills and maintains the automated dispensing system, prepares drug orders, completes cart fills, compounds IVs, assists pharmacists and other pharmacy technicians as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Pharmacy Technician national certification required
• Pharmacy Technician state certification (PHAT or PHAT#P) required
• Minimum 1-year hospital pharmacy technician experience required

Responsibilities:

• Answers telephone and window
• Fills medication orders
• Understands automated dispensing system
• Is able to work with automated reports
• Is able to work all functions of automated dispensing system
• Is able to load medications into the system
• Is able to take care of narcotic dispensing in the system
• Runs reports on system as needed
• Prepares IVs using aseptic technique
• Handles hazardous drugs and waste appropriately
