Account Executive, Molecular - North Florida

Abbott seeks a Molecular Account Executive to drive sales growth across North Florida's molecular diagnostic market. The role involves managing complex capital sales cycles, building customer relationships across healthcare facilities, and expanding market share through strategic new business development and account management.
Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to drive market share growth across North Florida territory
- Engage multiple stakeholders including C-suite executives to close complex capital sales and expedite decisions
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with healthcare facilities, hospitals, IDNs, reference labs, and women's health offices
- Collaborate with Enterprise Account Managers on large hospital system deals and manage renewals for non-enterprise accounts
- Develop contingency plans to address sales shortfalls and implement best practices based on customer insights
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of sales experience with proven track record exceeding targets
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel 50-75% within assigned territory
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM systems
- Strategic sales skills and change management capabilities
- Strong business planning and attention to detail
Compensation: $78,000–$156,000 base
