Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join a compassionate and mission-driven senior living care program in Wilmington, DE. This is a fully onsite role with the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Wilmington, DE

Schedule: Monday through Friday, Fully Onsite

Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent

Salary Range: $50,000 – $55,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Perform three-way match of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
• Reconcile AP accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and support month-end close.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
• Assist with audits by providing documentation and transaction history.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper coding and approvals.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in healthcare or senior living.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
