Job Title: BXCI – Asset Servicing – Senior Vice President

Lead and over-see the day-to-day activities of the global team responsible for the processing of life-cycle events of private CMLs, RMLs and alternative investments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all stages. Develop, manage and provide ongoing training support for all global team members. Understand accounting knowledge like PNL, realized and unrealized, FX PNL, and accrued interest on various assets being processed by the team. Act as the escalation to both internal and external stakeholders. Successfully manages senior level strategic external clients and partnerships. Collaborate with team members across multiple locations and departments to perform resolution of exceptions related to cash or position activity reconciliation. Liaise with both internal and external parties (e.g. , Portfolio Managers, Finance, Administrators, Trustees, etc.) to ensure timely response of any queries and resolution of issues. Utilize effective communication to provide clear direction as needed. Be responsible for routine operational tasks focused on administering defined procedures, analyses and report preparation, and resolving problems that require investigation or research. Create and execute on process improvement strategy for the team. This will include identifying process or control gaps, performing root cause analysis, and execute upon creative solutions to support processes streamlining across multiple teams or departments with focus on promoting efficiency and enhancing our risk controls. Represent and lead response on behalf of the asset servicing team for strategic initiatives or new product launches. Fostering a proactive culture focused on operational risk identification, management and resolution. Appropriately demonstrate consideration for Blackstone’s reputation, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience. Strong technical knowledge in various credit financial instruments including but not limited to loans, revolvers, bonds and repos with 7+ years of experience in structured product operations. Previous experience with Advent Geneva is preferred. Hands‑on experience with reconciliations and life‑cycle management of CML, RMLs and Alternative Investments. Strong problem solving and analytical skills to effectively analyze problems. Strong leadership skills with proven record of effective execution and driving accountability. Excellent team player, who can collaborate effectively across all levels of the firm. Strong risk and control mindset, including escalating issues effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills as the role requires communicating strategy to multiple internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint). Expected annual base salary range: $205,000 - $275,000. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
