Associate Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Dyne Therapeutics seeks an Associate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to provide strategic financial planning, reporting, and analytical support across the organization. The role involves owning FP&A systems and tools, developing financial models, and delivering insights to drive business decisions and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budget planning
Own administration and optimization of FP&A reporting systems and data warehouse
Analyze business performance, identify trends, and deliver insights to leadership
Partner with accounting and IT teams to enhance financial reporting capabilities
Support portfolio investment decisions and strategic resource allocation planning

Requirements

Financial planning and analysis experience in a corporate or biotech environment
Proficiency with FP&A reporting tools, planning applications, and financial data systems
Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis capabilities
Experience partnering with accounting, IT, and cross-functional business stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
