Position Summary

We’re looking for an HR Generalist who enjoys working with people and wants to be an active part of the workplace. This position is ideal for an HR professional who is approachable, organized, confident, and genuinely interested in helping employees and managers navigate the day-to-day workplace.

The ideal candidate is responsible for supporting all aspects of Human Resources operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, compliance, training coordination, and performance management support. This position serves as a resource to employees and supervisors while helping ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws. The HR Generalist works closely with leadership to support workforce development, employee engagement, retention initiatives, and organizational goals within a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience required.
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR best practices.
• Experience with recruiting, onboarding, and performance management.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and HRIS systems.

Essential Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
• Conduct new hire orientation and ensure completion of all required employment documentation.
• Maintain applicant tracking and recruitment records.

Employee Relations

• Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
• Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Support performance improvement processes and corrective action documentation.

Benefits & Leave Administration

• Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with enrollment and benefit-related questions.
• Coordinate leave requests.
• Maintain accurate leave and benefits records.

Compliance & Recordkeeping

• Maintain personnel files and HR documentation.
• Assist with compliance related to federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Support audits, licensing reviews, accreditation activities, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure required employee credentials, licenses, certifications, and training records remain current.

Training & Development

• Coordinate employee training programs and annual education requirements.
• Track training completion and compliance requirements.
• Assist leadership with employee engagement and retention initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits

• Based on experience, starts at $26.00 per hour and up
