Wound Care Physician Assistant

Location: Raleigh-Durham Greater Triangle Area or Eastern North Carolina (Wilson, Greenville, Goldsboro, Kinston) Area

Job Type: Full-Time | Mobile | Home-Based

Salary: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually

As a Wound Care provider, you will oversee your own patient panel, design your daily agenda, and deliver care that emphasizes positive outcomes. Care Coordination Responsibilities

• Support transitions of care following hospital or skilled nursing facility discharges.
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound management and prevention strategies.

Documentation & Compliance Duties

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
• Ensure documentation aligns with Medicare and payer requirements.
• Adhere to clinical protocols and workflows established by the organization.
• Engage in periodic chart reviews and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active, unrestricted license to practice in North Carolina.
• Board Certification (FNP, AGNP, PA-C, or equivalent).
• DEA license (or the ability to obtain one).
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

Preferred:

• Experience or certification in wound care (CWOCN, CWON, WCC, or similar).
• Background in home health, skilled nursing facilities, or post-acute care environments.
• Familiarity with Medicare documentation and billing practices.
