This role offers a rare opportunity to steward and elevate a partnership at the intersection of corporate philanthropy, nonprofit leadership, and community change.
If you are an enterprise thinker, exceptional relationship builder, and strategic leader energized by influencing across complex networks, we invite you to consider joining our organization.
Position Overview
The Chief Strategic Partnership Officer serves as the executive architect and steward of one of the most significant corporate partnerships within the United Way network.
Reporting directly to the President & Chief Executive Officer, this executive leadership role functions as the enterprise relationship leader for a nationally significant, multi-state corporate partnership while also overseeing the corresponding relationship within Central Florida. The role provides strategic leadership for partnership infrastructure, engagement, philanthropy, workplace giving, volunteerism, disaster resilience, and collaborative initiatives spanning more than 100 participating local United Ways.
The Chief Strategic Partnership Officer works closely with United Way Worldwide, State United Way Associations, and leadership across multiple markets to shape strategy, strengthen alignment, and ensure consistent, measurable impact across diverse communities.
This role offers meaningful leadership for someone who enjoys cultivating high-level partnerships, strengthening systems, mentoring teams, influencing across complex networks, and advancing mission-driven outcomes on a national scale.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as UWCF’s executive relationship leader and primary ambassador for a nationally significant corporate partner, cultivating trusted executive-level partnerships that align corporate priorities with United Way community impact strategies.
• Lead the long-range strategy and infrastructure for a multi-state corporate partnership while overseeing local engagement within Central Florida, ensuring alignment, coordination, and measurable outcomes across corporate, nonprofit, and community stakeholders.
• Provide national leadership for a workplace giving campaign involving more than 100 participating local United Ways, strengthening campaign strategy, stewardship, messaging, and infrastructure.
• Partner closely with United Way Worldwide, State United Way Associations, and market leadership to co-develop strategy, strengthen alignment, and ensure consistent, high-impact execution of partnership initiatives across participating markets.
• Oversee and strengthen local partnership engagement within Central Florida, including corporate philanthropy initiatives, campaign strategy, executive stewardship, and community partnerships.
• Supervise and develop strategic partnership staff, providing leadership to the Director of Strategic Partnerships & Engagement and alignment via a dotted-line relationship with the Manager, Corporate Philanthropy, ensuring seamless integration between national strategy and local execution.
• Cultivate meaningful engagement opportunities for corporate associates, retirees, volunteer networks, and Young Leaders while partnering with Marketing and Communications to strengthen storytelling, visibility, public engagement, and philanthropic participation.
• Design and enhance partnership systems, processes, analytics, and emerging technologies that strengthen enterprise-wide collaboration, improve effectiveness, and support scalable impact across markets.
• Provide executive leadership for disaster partnership strategy involving corporate, nonprofit, and community stakeholders to support preparedness, response, recovery, and resilience efforts.
