Quality TechnicianWork Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.Position SummaryThe Quality Technician will inspect product according to specifications and standards. Document non conformances and work with associates to implement corrective and preventive actions.ResponsibilitiesConduct audits and assist in analyzing data to identify corrective and preventive improvementsAssist in 8D and 5Why investigations of issuesRead and interpret the requirements of drawings.Analyze drawing requirements and make sound determination(s) of the appropriate inspection method/equipment to be used for product acceptance.Use inspection equipment (ID/OD mics, calipers, various other gages) in determining product acceptance.Initiate and complete all quality (Inspection) related records and documents with minimal supervision.Experience and Skill RequiredA minimum of 2 years of Quality experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing setting.Basic knowledge of ASME-Y14.5 (Geometric Tolerance) and ability to apply/inspect to requirements with minimal supervision.Able to lift 30lbsAbility to support PPAP sample inspection.Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).Experience with SAP MRP system preferred but not required.Leadership CompetenciesAction Oriented – Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.Customer Focus – Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.Instills Trust – Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.Optimizes Work Processes – Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.Self-Development – Actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels.Restrictions imposed by federal export control laws may limit this job opportunity to candidates who are a 'U.S. Person', which includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents, individuals granted asylum in the United States, and refugees in the United States.
