Audit Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Audit Manager / Senior Audit Manager for a well-established public accounting firm in Greater Cleveland, Ohio. This role will lead audit and assurance engagements, manage client relationships, mentor staff, and deliver exceptional service to a diverse client base across industries including manufacturing, real estate, nonprofit, and professional services. Responsibilities: Manage and review audits, reviews, and compilations for a variety of clients Lead engagement teams and oversee audit planning, execution, and delivery Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service Mentor, train, and develop staff accountants and senior associates Coordinate engagement scheduling and resource allocation Participate in Employee Benefit Plan audits and other specialized engagements Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen client outcomes Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting 5+ years of public accounting audit experience Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong technical accounting and auditing knowledge Excellent communication, leadership, and client service skills Recent public accounting experience required Benefits include competitive compensation bonus opportunities hybrid work flexibility medical dental vision life and disability insurance 401(k) generous paid time off paid parking summer hours with flexible Fridays firm events professional development opportunities and a collaborative team culture.
