This is an opportunity to lead sales efforts for a Marriott-branded hotel located just minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, serving a diverse mix of corporate, project, relocation, government, sports, and leisure travelers. What You'll Do Drive Total Hotel Revenue: Lead all group, negotiated corporate, extended stay, and local account sales efforts to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and market share. Develop Strategic Business: Identify new business opportunities while growing existing accounts across corporate, government, healthcare, construction, relocation, sports, and crew segments. Own the Sales Strategy: Create and execute annual sales and marketing plans aligned with hotel goals and market opportunities. Build Lasting Relationships: Establish strong partnerships with local businesses, Marriott Global Sales, travel managers, meeting planners, and community organizations. Partner with Revenue Management: Collaborate on pricing strategies, forecasting, and inventory management to maximize profitability. Lead Market Presence: Represent the hotel at industry events, networking functions, and community organizations to increase visibility and generate new business. Forecast & Analyze Performance: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgeting, and weekly/monthly production reports while identifying opportunities for continued growth. Champion the Marriott Brand: Ensure all sales initiatives align with Marriott brand standards while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
