Litigation Assistant

Are you an experienced Litigation Administrative Assistant, Litigation Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or Litigation Assistant looking for a fully remote opportunity? We're hiring for a 12+ month contract with potential for extension or conversion , supporting a California litigation team at a well-established law firm. Must be based in California 12+ Month Contract | Potential to Extend or Convert What You'll Do Prepare, format, revise, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and discovery Manage attorney calendars, meetings, and litigation deadlines Assist with billing, invoicing, and time entry Open and maintain new clients and matters Support compliance with California court and docketing requirements Assist with e-filing and File & Serve Maintain legal documents and case information Provide proactive administrative support to attorneys and litigation teams Manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines What We're Looking For 3+ years of recent litigation experience Strong knowledge of the California court system Law firm experience providing litigation/legal administrative support Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Proactive, dependable, and collaborative "can-do" attitude High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred Relevant Backgrounds / Job Titles Experience with California e-filing, File & Serve, docketing, document management, billing, and time-entry systems is a strong plus.
