Learn more about Splunk careers and how you can become a part of our journey!In this role you will be responsible for improving and maintaining the integrity of renewal baseline data in SFDC (Salesforce.com) which is the operational basis for Renewal Teams and the foundation for the business to facilitate overall revenue growth. You will work closely with the Metrics, Renewals, Sales, Deal Management Desk, Best Practice, and our Biz Apps teams and have a dotted reporting line to the Renewal Baseline Manager. One who also thrives when working in a results-oriented environment.Become an integral part of a high-energy, fast-paced team with significant opportunities to make a positive impact on the business!Primary Responsibilities Dedicated data review, investigation, and correction to drive the integrity of the renewal baseline. Ensures the quality of renewal data created and stored in SFDC and having a thorough understanding of how each data record is generated, stored, used, and modified at any given time. Developing a deep understanding of the purpose, structure, and use of renewal data in the business. Use data monitoring tools to proactively identify data anomalies / issues to resolve. Data governance - to keep track of, and can speak to, renewal data changes – Who, What, Where, When, and Why. Interact with Field Sales, prior to deal closing, to determine software renewability / durability. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to established policies. Keeping current on Splunk’s product portfolio, pricing strategies, programs, and strategy to identify and mitigate risks to renewal baseline integrity. Proactively engage with Renewals Ops, Sales, Best Practices, and Deal Management Desk for input to remediate and avoid renewal data integrity issues. Identifying root causes, providing input to process and system improvement. Responsible for resolving ServiceNow cases for renewal baseline questions or issues, troubleshoot and verify the accuracy of requests, and fix the errors in a timely manner. Be an expert and valuable resource in all aspects of renewal baseline integrity improvement and maintenance. Identifying opportunities to continuously improve systems and processes that outputs renewal data. Support team lead in analysis required to drive continuous improvement in renewal baseline integrity. Overall, being a partner to the business, working in the interest of Splunk success.Requirements / Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent practical experience 3-5 years current and hands-on Salesforce.com experience required; CPQ experience preferred; MS Excel intermediate level experience required; Celonis and ServiceNow experience valued. Prior experience in data operations / data integrity preferred. Strong knowledge and experience in Sales or Renewals Operations (preferably in a software and or SaaS (Software-As-A-Service) organization) Understanding business concepts for CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) in a subscription business. Basic understanding of financial terms used in technology-based business. Possess a keen business insight with the ability to handle, analyze and track data for a sophisticated and often complex process. Ability to effectively prioritize and work under pressure. Strong analytical skills – ability to investigate SFDC and SFDC CPQ behavior and determine the root causes of system errors and resolve data and system issues. Possess critical thinking – ability to validate and justify the accuracy of data. Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities with management support. Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and timely adherence to deadlines Ability to adapt to changing processes and follow them, as well as suggest changes where needed. Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to compose effective and accurate correspondence cross-functionally with various internal parties. Excellent interpersonal skills Scheduling flexibility, as required, to support different time zones during critical periods such as Month/Quarter/Year End close, etc..
