Machine Operator Day Shift

Production Machine Operator (Aseptic)

Location: Hendersonville, NC

Shift: 12-hour / 2-2-3 schedule / 6:00AM-6:00PM

Pay: $22.00/hour

We are hiring a Machine Operator to support our Aseptic production line. This role is responsible for running downstream equipment, ensuring quality standards, and keeping operations safe and efficient.

Duties:

• Operate and monitor downstream machines and equipment
• Set up machines, perform changeovers, and verify correct materials/programs
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to minimize downtime
• Perform quality checks, collect samples, and inspect finished products
• Record production data, downtime, and faults in the Sherlock system
• Follow GMP, safety rules, and start-up/shutdown procedures
• Assist with mold changeovers and equipment adjustments
• Maintain cleanliness and complete sanitation/housekeeping tasks

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of machine operator experience in manufacturing (food/beverage industry preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to set up and adjust machinery
• Comfortable using computers and entering production data
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and work in varying temperatures (hot, cold, humid)
