Special Education Teacher | Oak Park, IL | $50/hr | FMLA Coverage

PediaStaff is hiring a Special Education Teacher for a 4th & 5th grade instructional classroom near Oak Park, IL ! This is an FMLA leave position from August 24 – November 20, 2026 , with the possibility of extension .

✨ Position Highlights:

• $50/hour
• Full-time | Monday-Friday | In-person
• FMLA Coverage: 8/24/26-11/20/26 (possible extension)
• Small instructional classroom with 7 students (potentially 8)
• Teach 4th & 5th grade reading, writing, and the NEW BRIDGES Math curriculum
• Paid training and biweekly collaboration meetings for the new math program

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Special Education
• Illinois LBS1 Certification
• School-based special education experience preferred
