Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students as a special education teacher in a dynamic resource role. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with first and fourth-grade students, supporting their unique learning needs in a collaborative and nurturing environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience working with elementary-age children, preferably in special education
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passionate about fostering inclusion, engagement, and student success

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and resource support to a small caseload (approximately 10 students) in first and fourth grades
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support individualized student goals
• Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
• Monitor and report student progress, maintaining accurate and compliant documentation
• Foster a safe, supportive classroom atmosphere focused on student growth and achievement
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and continuous improvement initiatives

This position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, with hours from 8:50 am to 3:35 pm. You'll experience the rewarding challenge of helping students reach their fullest potential, all while working within a supportive school setting.
