Automobile/Premise Liability Defense Attorney New York, New York 07/21/2026 Compensation: 150,000.-180,000. / Annually Our client, a leading litigation law firm with offices throughout the Northeast, has an immediate need for an experienced Automobile/Premise Liability Defense Attorney , to join our winning team in New York. This is an exciting opportunity for attorneys with 4+ years of civil litigation experience handling the defense of Automobile and Premises Liability matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

You will manage your own caseload from inception through resolution, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, and trials. Ensure meticulous compliance with all court deadlines and scheduling requirements. At least 4 years of experience handling the defense of Automobile and Premises Liability cases in the State of New York. Work closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to develop and execute effective litigation strategies. Clear and consistent client communication will be essential, including providing regular updates and comprehensive written status reports. You will also conduct in-depth legal research, prepare strategic memoranda, and collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar. Ability to draft and argue dispositive motions, perform legal research and respond to discovery requests. Previous experience taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions independently. Prior ADR experience handling arbitrations and mediations.
