Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 36 or 48 Hour Weekly Option | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting serving all age ranges from infant to geriatric
• Manage complex and varied patient diagnoses within a high-volume ED environment (average daily census of 130, 47-bed unit)
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, delivering safe and effective nursing care in accordance with facility protocols
• Float within the Emergency Department specialty as required
• Adhere to all scheduling requirements including every other weekend and holidays as they fall

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact License at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience (candidates with 1 year of strong ER experience will be considered)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Current PALS certification (American Heart Association only)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the only accepted online vendor)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience as a travel nurse in an Emergency Room setting; first-time travelers with strong ER skills and experience will be considered
• Comfort with floating within specialty scope with no restrictions
• Ability to manage complex, high-acuity patients across all age groups and diagnoses
