About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-2 years required License: Active RN state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI Must-Have: 2 years of Emergency Room experience required, will consider 1 year of experience with strong skills. First-time travelers with relevant experience are accepted. Patient ratio experience of 1:4 is preferred. Description: Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room required for night shifts. Candidates will work 3x12-hour shifts. The hospital's average daily census is 130 patients. The unit has 47 beds and serves patients of all age ranges. Weekend shifts every other weekend are required. Holidays must be worked as scheduled. Floating within the specialty will be required. No pre-scheduled on-call requirements are present. Core staff reduction may lead to backfilling this position. Candidates must have prior charge experience. Candidates should have experience with various patient diagnoses. Skills in managing acute conditions and emergencies are necessary. Ability to perform necessary procedures and interventions is essential. Interdisciplinary support available within the unit includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Candidates must be comfortable with floating within the scope of practice. Compliance documents must be submitted prior to the start of the position.
