Provides basic analysis and reporting as assigned.## **Essential Responsibilities*** Applies accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions.* Posts, balances and reconciles various invested asset accounts.* Reconciles custody bank activity.* Performs transaction analyses, investigates data variances or anomalies and creates reports for review.* May provide accounting support and administration for specific investment categories (such as derivatives, mortgage loans, limited partnerships, etc.).* Performs daily collateral processing.## **Other Duties*** May assist with special projects.* Other duties as assigned.* Performs other duties and/or projects as assigned.## **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*** Basic understanding of GAAP accounting principles and procedures (understanding of IFRS and Statutory accounting preferred).* Ability to learn and understand Jackson products and systems.* Detail-oriented, organized and able to prioritize work to meet deadlines.* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.* Good written and verbal communication skills.* Good PC skills, including MS Word, Access and Excel and other department software.* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.## **Qualifications*** ## Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, or closely related field required.* ## 1+ years work experience required.Jackson is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
