About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 08 About the Role: Within the Private Markets division, the Valuation Services team islooking foraSeniorAnalyst tomake an immediate impact ondeliveringvaluation services and supporttoseveralVenture Capital/Private Equity clients spread across the US and APAC regions. The analyst will be working on ASC 820 valuations for fair value reportingwithina close-knit team that values collaboration, problem-solving,and continuous learning. Responsibilities and Impact: Perform portfolio valuations for VC/PE funds and business valuations of early-stage venture-backed companies with complex capital structures, adheringto all AICPA standardspertaining toFair Value Work directly with clients gatheringand reviewing ofunderlying source data, project management, communication around timelines and deliverables, and audit support Setupvaluations fornew clients as part of the onboarding processand lead training sessions on how to use the platform;assistthe Implementation team with interpretation of financial and legal documents usedin onboarding Work withthe ClientEngagement and Support teamstorespondtoclient requests andresolveinquiries Contribute to the design and enhancement of the proprietary models and software platforms used to perform valuations Compensation/Benefits Information: S&P Globalstatesthat theanticipatedbase salary range for this position is $55,000 to $70,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training,licensesand certifications. WhatWe’reLookingFor: Basic Required Qualifications: Experience working in a client facing role Experience working in financial industry Advanced Microsoft Excel skills combined with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills with extreme attention to detail Ability to work efficiently under strict deadlines in a collaborative team setting Additional Preferred Qualifications: Post-graduatedegree in AccountingorFinance CPA, CFA, or another relevantdesignation Strongunderstanding of private markets valuation methodologies, including Black-Scholes OPM,with the ability to perform valuations for VC/PE portfolios and early-stage companies with complex capital structures Right to Work Requirements: This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
