Systems Administrator with Security Clearance

Virtual Vocations Inc

To support the Navy ERP+ program, the full-time Systems Administrator with Security Clearance will install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments while ensuring stability, security, and performance in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and administer Windows Server and RHEL operating systems, managing both physical and virtual environments Implement operating system security controls and maintain compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and support infrastructure upgrades and modernization initiatives Required Qualifications Active DoD security clearance with T5 investigation Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience administering enterprise Windows Server environments 5+ years of experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments
