This position offers the flexibility of a remote working arrangement, allowing you to provide essential mental health services from the comfort of your home. You will work during standard business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which promotes a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorders, providing a clear understanding of symptom severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to design customized treatment plans that are tailored to their unique needs, goals, and preferences, anchoring the therapeutic process in client-centered care.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and practical self-care strategies to empower them outside of therapy sessions.

• Continuously monitor client progress during treatment, adjusting plans as needed based on realistic assessments and therapeutic outcomes.

• Work cohesively with psychiatrists and fellow healthcare providers to facilitate a collaborative treatment network, ensuring an integrated approach to client care.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research and best practices to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and assessments in alignment with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and professional development opportunities, actively seeking to expand your clinical skills and expertise in mood disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers primarily on serving individuals grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or a PsyD in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrable expertise in therapeutic modalities pertinent to mood disorder treatment, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to coordinate care effectively with psychiatrists and other health professionals.

• Proven experience in successfully treating mood disorders, with a track record of positive client outcomes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect with diverse clients.
