Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of clients to inform treatment planning and therapy.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s needs.

• Provide one-on-one teletherapy sessions, focusing on various issues such as trauma recovery, anxiety management, and depression.

• Set therapeutic goals with clients and monitor their progress towards achieving these goals throughout the therapeutic process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of sessions and treatment outcomes while adhering to ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base at Wisdom Within includes individuals of all ages who are navigating various mental health challenges. This includes, but is not limited to, young adults facing transitional stressors, professional adults dealing with workplace anxiety, and older adults navigating late-life concerns. Our therapists have an opportunity to make significant impacts on the lives of their clients as they provide tailored support that addresses the unique experiences and backgrounds of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to express empathy and understanding towards clients.

• An openness to continuous learning and a commitment to professional ethics.

• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, we value candidates who have experience in delivering therapy in a telehealth setting, proficiency in specific therapeutic modalities (such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR), and those who have additional training or certifications related to trauma, anxiety disorders, or grief counseling. Experience working with diverse populations and cultural competence is also highly preferred.
