Normal business hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Genesis Health Care Inc., you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms, establishing a comprehensive understanding of each client’s mental health status.

• Work collaboratively with clients to design tailored treatment plans that address individual needs, preferences, and treatment goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to promote better coping skills.

• Closely monitor and track clients' progress throughout the therapy process, making necessary adjustments to ensure treatment efficacy.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic treatment plans for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and clinical advancements in the field of mental health to enhance treatment approaches and interventions.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to share insights and learn best practices in mood disorder treatment.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs by actively seeking to eliminate stigma and promote awareness of mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with various mood disorders, including, but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will engage with a diverse array of clients, reflecting different backgrounds and experiences, which adds depth and enrichment to the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities specific to mood disorders.
\n
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and collaborative practice with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.

• A proven track record of effective mental health outcomes in clinical settings.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to build rapport with clients from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates with experience in teletherapy settings or with specialized training in mood disorders or trauma-informed care will be given priority consideration.
