Home Sales Inspector

As an Orkin Home Sales Inspector, you will help homeowners protect their most valuable asset by performing comprehensive inspections and recommending pest protection solutions. Responsibilities Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers. Perform 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces and everything in between. Serve as a problem solver for customers by utilizing in‑depth training to determine the best overall pest solution. Achieve goals through prospecting new business and managing assigned leads. Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain Orkin’s products and services. Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home. Make recommendations to customers based on inspection findings and answer any questions, explaining the process and setting expectations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid). Ability to work in the field independently and interact with customers. Work Environment Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity. Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including the ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Wear personal protective equipment, sometimes including an OSHA‑compliant respirator. Work in varying weather conditions.
