Role Description The Home Sales Inspector is a full‑time, on‑site role based in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area. This position is responsible for visiting residential properties, performing thorough inspections to identify pest, termite, and related issues, and recommending appropriate treatment and prevention solutions. The inspector will explain findings to customers in clear, accessible language, prepare detailed inspection reports, and present service options and pricing to support informed decision‑making. Daily activities include scheduling and managing appointments, conducting interior and exterior assessments, documenting conditions, and following up with potential and existing customers to close sales and maintain strong relationships. The role also involves working closely with service teams, adhering to safety and regulatory standards, and meeting individual and team sales goals. Qualifications Ability to conduct detailed home inspections, assess pest and termite activity, and document findings accurately. Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills to build trust and clearly explain inspection results and recommendations. Comfort with consultative selling, presenting service options, and closing sales in residential settings. Basic technical aptitude to learn Orkin’s inspection tools, treatment concepts, and digital reporting systems. Self‑motivated, organized, and reliable, with the ability to manage a daily route and work independently on‑site. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and ability to travel locally within the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area. Willingness to work in varied environments, including basements, attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor areas, and to follow all safety guidelines. High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in sales, inspections, home services, or related fields is beneficial but not required.
