RN - ICU

Registered Nurse - ICU (Nights, EOW, First to Float)

This is a 13-week contract position with a night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Expect to work every other weekend and potentially up to 2 extra mandatory shifts per 6 weeks.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of ICU experience, including cardiac care. The ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to float to PCU and Med Surg units as needed, ensuring high-quality care for a range of patients, including post-operative CABG patients.

• Provide critical care to ICU patients with various diagnoses including open hearts, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, and CVAs.
• Monitor patients receiving advanced cardiac support via IABP, Impella, and CRRT.
• Support day 2 and day 3 post-operative care for CABG patients.
• Float to PCU and Med Surg as needed based on unit census.
• Collaborate with a team focused on teamwork and patient care excellence.

• Minimum of 2 years' ICU experience, including cardiac experience.
• Experience with IABP, Impella, CRRT.
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Current NE or compact RN license in good standing.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience is highly preferred for patients younger than 8 years old.
