Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,568 - $2,735 per week Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour nights Start date: 08/09/2026 Location: Kealakekua, Hawaii Assignment type: Travel - Temporary Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients and their newborns in the labor & delivery and nursery units, including couplet care Monitor labor progress and fetal status using intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring; respond to variances in maternal/fetal conditions Support postpartum and neonatal care, including newborn assessments and transition to nursery as needed; administer medications and document care Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and the broader care team; ensure accurate charting and compliance with policies Charge nurse duties may be assigned with compensation of $2.00 per hour; may float to assist other departments but not as the primary nurse Requirements Active Hawaii RN license required Labor & Delivery and Nursery couplet care experience; ability to care for both mother and newborn Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring experience Ability to float to assist other departments as needed while maintaining primary assignment in L&D Schedule expectation includes 72-80 hours every two weeks (as described for this assignment) Benefits and Support Assignment-specific support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC 24/7 recruiter and travel support during the assignment Credentialing and licensure assistance as needed Potential extension opportunities after the initial contract period About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
