The Accounts Receivable Clerk supports TERI's financial operations through billing, collections, account reconciliation, and administrative accounting support. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, preparing invoices, and assisting with customer account inquiries. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while delivering excellent customer service and supporting a mission-driven organization.

Your Role & Responsibilities –

• Prepare and process invoices, billing statements, cash receipts, and daily deposits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain accounts receivable files, reconcile account balances, and monitor overdue accounts.
• Communicate with customers regarding billing questions, payment issues, and collection efforts.
• Process credit card payments, charge backs, bad checks, and account adjustments as needed.
• Update financial records in MIP Accounting Software and QuickBooks systems.
• Assist with reporting, audits, and additional accounting projects within the Finance Department.

Qualifications –

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, Bookkeeping, or related field preferred.
• 1+ year of related accounts receivable, billing, bookkeeping, or accounting experience required.
• Experience working with California Regional Centers preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with accounting software such as MIP and QuickBooks preferred.

Pay –

$24.00 - $26.00 Hourly
