Temporary Accounting Assistant
We are thrilled to announce a new Temporary Accounting Assistant opportunity! Position: Temporary Accounting Assistant Pay Rate: $30 - $32/hr Location: Vista, CA Key Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, QuickBooks Online experience a MUST.
- Post daily e-store transactions
- Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Identify and monitor overdue accounts
- Follow-up on Accounts Receivable to minimize delinquencies
- Verify vendor billing accuracy, including product, quantities received and pricing
- Monitor the accounts payable ledger to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Assist in the resolution of any identified vendor discrepancies
- Support month-end close by preparing and adjusting journal entries, supporting schedules, and accounting reconciliations.
Desired Skills, Attributes and Requirements
- 3 5 years of experience in similar position
- Solid understanding of the full cycle of accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred
